- And Lifecycle Exercise Bikes
All of this exercise?equipment?will connect to Android devices via mini-USB and to an updated ?LFConnect? app. If your not familiar with LFConnect, essentially it allows users to customize their own personal home screen defaults by tracking calorie, heart rate, and personal workout statistics. If you?re that busy person that utilizes online calender tools, the LFConnect application will allow fitness-buffs to read and execute calender data based on their exercise routine.
To go beyond that, gym owners and supervisors will be able to use the app in connection with their organized machines to provide certain members with ?on-demand? media and entertainment. Life Fitness has also created an application known as LFopen, which allows?users to create open-source plug-in apps for Life Fitness devices.
All in all, it looks like the company is not only developing new hardware and software to interact with each other, but also creating a new community to develop and share data to work with Life Fitness machines.
